WHY WE LUV THIS
I became a reluctant fan of Sade back in the 80’s.  My roommate, Senia was completely obsessed with her.  I kid you not when I say she played the Diamond Life album  e-v-e-r-y  night after work for a least 6 months straight – ugh!  But, by the end of that long stretch, I was really listening and I couldn’t deny that Sade’s lyrics were freakin’ brilliant.  ”Smooth Operator… he’s laughing with another girl, and playing with another heart, placing high stakes, making hearts ache”.  I became a closet Sade fan. Fast forward 2010, I was a little nervous when I heard she was releasing a new album.
