I’m an artist who grew up Catholic. So when one of my dearest friends, Senia Sakarya (then Senia De La Cruz) turned me on to Sr. Wendy’s Story of painting, I was fiercely opposed. “There is no way a nun could possibly have an objective view of art”, I thought. After months of her trying to convince me, I stumbled upon Sr. Wendy on PBS.
